This is my latest butterfly painting of a pair of Orange-Tip's with Red Campions, Stitchwort and Bluebells. Inspired by seeing these bright little butterflies fluttering along the hedge banks I picked a few of the flowers I had seen them with and brought these back to my studio to paint. I have done a very loose watercolour background concentrating all the detail on the flowers and butterflies.
